Services
Medication Management
Patients often get to the point in their treatment where they have lost faith in the treatment modality or lost faith in their provider's ability to help them find the right treatment. This often includes patients who want to stop their current medications and start fresh, although the discontinuation of medication is a mix of art and science, it can be done safely.
Here at Augustin Psychiatric Associates we encourage patients to have a detailed conversation with their provider to create an individualized plan that often includes coordinating with other providers i.e. Primary Care Physician, Dermatologist, Endocrinologist or Gynecologist. Discontinuation of medication is often a family decision and here at Augustin Psychiatric we encourage patients to get their support system to be part of their transition.
